She had many facts and drew the group into what life at the palace would have been like. It was great experience for everyone in the group.

woth a visit. We decided with my boyfriend to visit several of the well known places in Crete and definitely, the palace of Knossos is one of them. We recommend to use and professional guide and discover some of this amazing ancient history of the area.

She has a true admiration for the Minoan people and it’s such a delight to hear her talk about the history, mythos, and culture of the people of Knossos from her perspective. We learned a lot and now have a tremendous appreciation for the Minoan people, too.

Great guided tour of Knossos! Our tour guide was very friendly and super knowledgeable. She told us many facts that we would have never know without this tour. We really enjoyed walking the ruins with her and hearing all the stories and Greek mythology. Definitely worth it!

Incredible guide, excellent tour. Many decades ago I studied ancient history and visiting the Palace of Knossos was a bucket list item. I have read reviews that say the ruins and overrated but I still booked a tour and I am very glad. The ruins aren’t as well preserved as Pompeii but the story of the buildings and the importance of Knossos as a cultural and economic centre is fascinating. We had the best guide - a true storyteller, historian and incredibly stylish (had to add that in. It was a stinking hot day and she looked cool and glamorous). She brought the site to life - told us the legends, dispelled some of the myths and then explained how those very myths could be analysed to provide pointers to the real history. I can’t recall our guide’s name (we did the 9am tour on 10 June) but a big thank you for helping me to enjoy one of my bucket list wishes. Entertaining guided tour. We had a great tour of Knossos Palace today! Our guide was informative, entertaining, and mindful of keeping us in the shade during the hot weather. I only wish we had more time to learn about the history. It was easy to find them upon arrival. Each of us also got an earpiece to be able to listen to the guide which I thought was a nice touch. Great tour by Thalia, best way to see Knossos. We had an excellent tour by the wonderful Thalia who was passionate about the history of Knossos Palace. She weaved a narrative across the entire tour, highlighting all sorts of elements we might have missed wandering about ourselves. We only had 5 people in our group, 4 from our family, so it was like a VIP tour. It is really made by Thalia, who had energy and enthusiasm for the place and in sharing her understanding with us. I saw numerous coach tours with bored looking tour guides, while this was the exact opposite. Best way to see Knossos, in my opinion.
